The ZAi-580 agricultural drone is designed as a versatile robotic aerial system for farming applications. This heavy-duty drone combines functions for spraying, sowing, and lifting, aiming to streamline various tasks on farms. It's built with a robust propulsion and energy system, capable of delivering over 300 kg of thrust and handling significant loads, including a maximum takeoff weight of 150 kg.
For activities like crop spraying, the drone features a 70-liter spraying tank and can achieve a maximum flow rate of 40 liters per minute with an optional four-centrifugal nozzle upgrade package, producing droplet sizes between 50-500 micrometers. Its sowing system includes an 80 kg spreading tank with a flow rate of 300 kg/min, accommodating particle sizes from 0.5 to 10 millimeters, suitable for materials like urea, compound fertilizers, or various types of rice. The drone also supports lifting/carrying with an 80 kg capacity.
Equipped for fully autonomous operations, the ZAi-580 adapts to different farming environments, whether large fields or orchards. It incorporates RTK Mobile Station and RTK Mapping Device for precise navigation and mapping. The drone's power system includes 62-inch carbon fiber propellers and high-performance flat wire motors, with each motor set offering a maximum thrust of 76 kg. An 18S 30,000mAh intelligent battery provides long-lasting performance, supported by an active and passive cooling system to maintain optimal temperatures.
The ZAi-580 also features an Airpilot 3.5 multifunctional remote controller with a 6-inch high-resolution display, 4G module for enhanced video transmission up to 2000 meters point-to-point, and customizable buttons. Its perception system includes a 120° ultra-wide-angle lens with virtual gimbal and electronic stabilization, along with night vision enhancement for improved clarity during nighttime operations. For safety, it boasts a 360-degree radar sensing system with a 70m effective sensing range for obstacle avoidance. The software system provides autonomous operation with features like intelligent navigation, one-click edge scanning, and plot generation.
